the group is donation based for what I do. I drive around in places that most civilians will not and look for stolen cars, that mostly involves behind abandoned houses and in dark, very dark alleys all over the city of chicago. I have NEVER asked for a FINDERS FEE since I know it is very difficult having a stolen vehicle to begin with. I have found cars that owners had ZERO insurance, found cars with baby seats in them and found vehicles that have been Burnt by the Suspects. I come across vehicles ALL the time when I am driving around so IF I find a stolen vehicle I will always post it to the group to see IF anyone owns it. Also we will post them here in the recovered section just incase the owner does not have social media. I do not know 90% of vehicle owners.
